Indoor air pollution can actually be worse for you than outdoor pollution! People spend the majority of their lives inside their homes and buildings, so clean indoor air with low levels of dust, particulates and contaminants and the right level of humidity is more important for day-to-day health and comfort. If you want cleaner, healthier indoor air, we can help supply and install the latest air filtration systems, air decontaminating UV lamps, dehumidifiers and humidifiers, including:
Provides quality airflow, removing unwanted particles such as pollen, dust, and some bacteria. Electronic air cleaners have the best overall performance and provide the greatest help with allergies and asthma. They are up to 40 times more effective than a standard throwaway filter. A 5” Media Filter is up to 15 times more effective than a standard throwaway filter.
You’ve heard it a million times before “It’s not the heat, it’s the humidity.” Excess humidity can have a big impact on your home’s comfort.
A Whole-Home Dehumidifier removes just the right amount of moisture for ultimate comfort and peace of mind. And it works throughout your entire home, not just in one room like noisy, messy portable dehumidifiers. In addition, it lets you dehumidify a separate area of your home where there is more humidity buildup - like your basement or crawlspace - even when your heating/air-conditioning isn’t running.
A Guardian Air Cleaner is an advanced system that eliminates sick building syndrome risks by reducing odors, air pollutants, VOCs (chemical odors), smoke, mold, bacteria and viruses. The system creates an Advanced Oxidation Process using friendly oxidizers.
A heat recovery ventilator will exhaust pollutants and excess moisture to the outside of the home. It efficiently recovers heat from the exhaust stream during cold weather and will pre-cool and pre-dehumidify incoming air during hot, muggy weather.
In order to make your home as comfortable as possible, you need to add moisture to the air. Doing so reduces dry throat and skin, static shocks, keeps furniture and your home from drying out and increases energy efficiency. It’s become well known that a home with moisture feels warmer than a dry home, even at lower temperature settings. For many families, a whole house humidifier not only provides the right amount of moisture, it can also help to keep irritating airborne particles from circulating as easily.
The U.S. Government requires UV lamps above cooling coils to control microbial growth in government buildings. Now the average homeowner can apply the same safety measures in their own living spaces. Considering the well-reported dangers of mold and bacteria in the home, it just makes sense to attack these problems at the source. You can, with a UV Germicidal Lamp.
Zoning is the creation of distinct living areas in which the temperature is precisely controlled by its own thermostat. An Integrated Zone System represents the highest technological achievement in heating and air conditioning. It will run so quietly and provide such even and continuous comfort that you'll wonder how you lived without it for so long. You no longer will need to worry about the upstairs being a different temperature from downstairs. View a quick video to learn more about zoning.
Please stop by our office to pick up these additional accessories for your home. Below is a sample of what we stock.
The water panel in your humidifier should be changed at least once a year and possibly more often depending on the hardness of your town water. Nashoba Air & BoilerWorks™ stocks standard-sized water panels. Other sizes can be available within 48 hours notice.
When you change your water panel, make sure that you do not scrub the white, crumby texture on the distribution tray. This material is on the tray to properly distribute the water through the system.
In addition to filters and water panels, we stock a full line of programmable thermostats and Carbon Monoxide Detectors. View these products in our showroom, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays by appointment.
