Nashoba Air installs a full line of cooling systems, ranging in SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) from 13 to 19. We typically install 16 SEER in the Nashoba Valley Region.
The majority of our installs include R410A which is the environmentally friendly refrigerant. According to the Montreal Protocol which was signed by the United States in 1987, the refrigerant R-22, now used in most residential air conditioning systems, is one of the many chemicals that will be phased out. R-410A was developed to replace the ozone-depleting R-22 refrigerant. R-22 production will be reduced by 35 percent in 2004, reduced again in 2010 and 2015 and will be eliminated in 2020. The production of equipment designed to use R-22 refrigerant will end by 2010.

CoolChoice is currently offering a rebate program to homeowners that install high-efficient cooling systems. The rebate is for $300. Nashoba Air will process all the paperwork for you upon installation completion. Find out what rebates may be available to you at time of installation.
I have a boiler, is there a cost-effective way to cool my home?
A ductless air conditioner often referred to as a minisplit is a cost-effective, attractive way to control indoor climate. Ductless air conditioning systems are particularly beneficial as the condenser (housing the motor, etc) is installed outside the building, ensuring quiet operation inside. While a slick indoor unit is installed on a wall inside. A remotely wired or hand-held controller provides flexible operation relating to time programs, room temperatures and more.
How do I cool an older home or a home with radiant heat?
A high-velocity air system may be your solution. The system distributes high velocity air through flexible, pre-insulated 2" (inner diameter) tubing which slides through wall structures and around obstructions. All you see is a small, round, air outlet about the diameter of a CD. Located on ceilings, walls, or floors, the outlets can be easily painted or wallpapered.
The ultra quiet central air conditioning system is run by a blower unit small enough to fit inside an attic, basement, or crawlspace. For winter warming, the system can be heated through a hot water coil or electric coil.
